Training & development

The custodian/janitor is responsible for the general cleaning of interior and exterior of the building lobbies, office areas, restrooms, elevators, stairs and other areas as assigned by the contract with the customer. Project work, especially floor maintenance may be included in the list of job duties assigned. Employee will report any damage to customer property unsafe conditions and suspicious activities within the building to their immediate supervisor.

Job duties: daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, dust mopping, sanitizing and other tasks assigned by management.

Skills needed: Able to work independently with limited supervision, understand written instructions and directions, knowledgeable on using cleaning equipment and have a clean neat appearance.
