  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The custodian/light assembler will spend 50% of their time on light assembly duties and 50% of their time completing daily custodian duties such as cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles etc.

    • Basic knowledge and ability to set-up and operate all equipment used in production of the marker area, and light assembly area
    • Basic knowledge of component parts and finished products produced within the department personnel.
    • Physically locate inventory stock from incoming purchase orders and attached Kanban cards.
    • Complete daily housekeeping activities
    • Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
    • Other duties may be assigned on occasion.

    This is a union position for International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 8.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma (or GED)
    • Mathematical - Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
    • Reasoning ability-Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram (visual) form.
    • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills
