Starting Pay: $21/hr- $30/hr (based on demonstrated experience)
What You Do:
As a Custom Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the professional installation of custom home theaters, whole home automation, networking, and business systems.
Your Background Profile:
Experience: Minium 3-5 years as an AV installation technician REQUIRED. Ability to use hand tools such as hammer, drills, electric screw drivers, etc.
Rack design and cable dressing
LCD/LED/OLED TV installation, mounting, wiring
Projector/Screen installation and calibration
In-ceiling/in-wall speaker installation
Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance)
Experience in Araknis network deployments a PLUS
Lutron RadioRa3 programming a PLUS
Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: (3 years Minimum)
Structured pre-wire for whole home audio/video distribution, networking principles, keypad/touch panels, camera systems in new and retro fit construction
Security systems Installation experience a PLUS
Crestron or Universal Remote Control (URC) programming experience a PLUS
Adaptable: Ability to adapt to frequent changes and troubleshoot issues.
Availability to work Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm (some Saturdays and overtime may be required).
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Customer Service: ability to speak to clients in a professional manner.
Comfortable in working a Loft or working on ladders.
High School diploma or GED required
Valid Texas DL required
