Job Summary Are you a dog-lover with a passion for customer service? If so, we’d like to hear from you! We are seeking an outgoing and organized individual to be the Customer/Canine Service Specialist at our established dog daycare and overnight care facility. As the CSS, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will greet pet owners and check in pets, prepare guest accomodations, schedule appointments, process payments, and generally ensure that our facility is a welcoming place.
Responsibilities
Greet and chat with guests as they arrive
Welcome dogs in and escort them to their playgroup
Collect and confirm pet and owner information
Manage and record pet belongings
Answer phones and emails
Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
Process payments
Maintain reception desk and lobby
Other administrative duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication with clients and coworkers
Comfortable working with dogs
Thrive while multi-tasking during busy hours
Self-propelled
Detail-oriented
Proficient computer skills
