    We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Development Manager for the Mass and Drug Channels - Costco to lead strategic initiatives and drive growth within the Mass and Drug retail sectors. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in expanding our Clients' footprint by fostering strong customer relationships, crafting innovative promotional strategies, and achieving ambitious sales goals. This position requires a proven track record of managing key accounts at major retailers like Walmart, Costco, and Sam’s Club, and offers the opportunity to shape the future of our presence in these markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Director of National Accounts to create short- and long-term strategies that amplify the Clients' product line across key accounts.
    • Achieve Sales Goals: Set and deliver annual sales targets, ensuring consistent growth and profitability for the brand.
    • Build Customer Relationships: Cultivate meaningful, long-lasting relationships through in-person meetings and effective communication with national retail partners.
    • Drive Consumer Demand: Partner with marketing and brand teams to execute initiatives that resonate with customers and drive demand at the consumer level.
    • Manage Promotions and Budgets: Guide internal teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and co-op programs while overseeing account-specific budgets.
    • Analyze Performance: Leverage data to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives, refine strategies, and maximize ROI.
    • Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Oversee agreements with key accounts, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
    • Lead Product Launches: Drive new product submissions, category reviews, and inventory forecasting to meet market demand.
    • Represent the Brand: Act as a company ambassador at trade shows, association meetings, and retail events to enhance brand visibility.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience: 5+ years in account management, preferably with major retailers like Walmart, Costco, or Sam’s Club.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, develop innovative strategies, and adapt to industry shifts.
    • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills to effectively build relationships and present ideas.
    • Detail-Oriented: A commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the role.
    • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making

    Compensation: $140,000 plus bonus and full benefits!
