    Are you a driven, enthusiastic people-person with experience providing excellent support & customer service? If so, we want to talk to you! This position is not a remote position, it is working in our Crown Point office, Monday thru Friday.

    HPC is looking for a highly motivated individual with 2+ years professional experience in B2B (business to business) customer service setting.

    This is a full-time Customer Service position, working in our Crown Point Office, Monday through Friday in our HPC BooksourcePlus™ division. To learn more about our HPC BooksourcePlus™ service please go to our website at https://www.hpcinternationalinc.com > Solutions > BooksourcePlus.

    HPC EooksourcePlus™ is a distributor of books of books and training materials to hospitals and other healthcare organizations.

    The Customer Service person will be fully responsible for handling all orders and quotes on the products we sell or can obtain for our customers.

    On a daily basis, here’s what you will be doing:

    1. Answer, communicate, and acknowledge incoming customer calls/emails/requests.
    2. Provie price quotes to customers at their request.
    3. Enter orders as they are received and ensure accuracy of customer information, pricing and availability.
    4. Set up new items in our ERP system.
    5. Develop and maintain customer loyalty and trust through effective communication, support and transparency.
    6. Ensure Customer orders are fulfilled by working closely with other on the Booksource team, communicating updates, ETA's backorders, or other changes to the customer.
    7. Exceed customer expectations by quickly and accurately resolving customer issues upon presentation.
    8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
    9. Set up and onboard new customers.
    10. Outreach to current and past customers in increase Booksource sales.
    11. Cross train with others in the Booksouce division so that you can fill in when your teammates are out on vacation of unexpected day(s) off or when they need help.

    Knowledge/Skills:

    • Strong mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
    • Must be reliable with good transportation
    • Work well in a collaborative team environment
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Comfortable in communicating with and dealing directly with customers and vendors
    • Position requires flexibility, careful attention to details, and ability to multi-task
    • Position requires proactive and excellent follow-up skills
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintains high standards of conduct and integrity and demonstrates good judgment

    • Generous hourly wage between $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
