Our dynamic team seeks an enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional customer service to our insurance company clients and policyholders. You’ll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies. You'll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations. Responsibilities: • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given • Answer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries • Remain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available tools • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects • Research and resolve coverage questions • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records as well as our many different software programs • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed Qualifications: • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills • Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred • You must have previous customer service experience for this position • You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken • This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator • Type quickly and accurately • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest • Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment) • We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
