    Rivergate Muffler & Auto Repair is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team. We are looking for someone who wants to break into the automotive industry while getting an opportunity to grow professionally and develop the skills needed to help us maintain and build our dedicated customer base.     Requirements

    A willingness to learn and develop in an exciting industry.

    Phone skills

    Honesty and Integrity

    Valid driver’s license

    Microsoft office and computer competency are a plus.

    Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Duties

    Greet arriving customers and provide exceptional service.

    Answer and greet incoming calls and appointment requests (by phone and internet).

    Start the repair order obtaining all pertinent customer and vehicle information.

    Listen to customer concerns and accurately note them on the repair order.

    Provide detailed information to customer regarding recommended service/repairs.

    Obtain customer approval for repairs

    Coordinate with the manager to ensure timely completion of repairs. This is aided by your management of our job flow board. We all need to have visibility to the playing field!

    Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process.

    Process payments and handle customer inquiries.

    Maintain customer loyalty rewards.

    Follow up after-the-sale for satisfaction and to pursue any declined work (both benefit your compensation).

    Sorting and analyzing vendor invoices for accuracy.

    Helping to maintain a clean and neat customer lobby.

    A quick note regarding skills

    Automotive knowledge is beneficial, but not necessary. A desire to win and succeed is most important.

    Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

    Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information.
