About Us: D-BAT Virginia Beach is a premier baseball & softball training facility dedicated to providing top-notch training programs and resources for athletes of all ages and backgrounds. We pride ourselves on creating a positive and engaging environment for our members and guests. As we continue to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team!

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and personable Part-Time Customer Service Associate/Front Desk. This role is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in Sports Management or a related field, offering valuable experience in a sports-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in customers as they arrive at the facility.

Process payments and manage customer transactions including: maintaining an organized cash register and ensure it balances at the end of each shift.

Schedule lessons, camps, and clinics efficiently.

Promote and sell memberships and services to potential customers.

Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.

Conduct safety checks and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe environment for all customers.

Assist with indoor and outdoor events as needed.

General cleaning duties to include: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, etc.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Previous customer service experience, preferably in a sports facility.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Passion for baseball or softball is a plus, playing experience not required.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
