    We are in the process of moving our headquarters from Fort Worth to The Woodlands, Texas. During this transition, there will be some traveling to train with the team in Fort Worth.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a customer service person to join our fast-paced team in The Woodlands. This role will report to our Customer Service Manager and will need to be a quick learner of our vendors and our product. A person must have ERP experience and have advanced knowledge of excel. Excellent customer service regarding pricing, availability and delivery, order placement and inquiries. Manufacturing experience preferred.

    Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Customer Service

    • Entering customer orders into the Global Shop ERP system.
    • Updating and allocating inventory.
    • Following up with customers on orders and quotes for lead times and prices changes.
    • Manage the production of quotes including the outline, content, required forms, deadlines, etc. through CRM.
    • Coordinate with key internal personnel to complete various sections of the quotes and drive to completion.
    • Follow up and track performance of quote.
    • Identifying potential problems ahead of time and coordinating with customers and the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products.
    • Interface with salesmen and Costa Rica staff on a constant basis to ensure inventory levels are kept at optimum levels.
    • Customers' future needs are always anticipated.
    • Review the RFQ to understand its intent, requirements, details, timing, and scope.
    • Establish timing plan to accomplish SOW.
    • Perform risk analysis of projects as required.
    • Manage and coordinate incoming request for proposals, prioritizing and scheduling team members to meet customer requirements.

    Requirements:

    • A high school diploma or GED.
    • Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to details.
    • Ability to interact with all levels of management while maintaining a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proficient with MS Word and Power Point. and utilize Excel at an advanced level.
    • Work well in a fast paced, time sensitive and deadline orientated environment.
    • Project Management training and experience is a plus.
    • Capable of calculating shipments with associated costs and delivery schedules including shipment sizing.
