Responsibilities: • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved • Track current marketing activities, so you can appropriately respond to insurance-related inquiries with all of the resources at your disposal • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies • Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects • Research and resolve coverage questions • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records as well as our many different software programs • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed Qualifications: • Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required • You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken • This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator • Type quickly and accurately • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest • Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment) • We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
