Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers. In this role, you will handle inbound calls and emails, process orders, address customer inquiries, and escalate concerns when needed. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer-savvy, and able to stay calm under pressure. You will be working in an FDA and ISO-regulated environment where quality and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently.
Identify the reason for customer inquiries, gather relevant information, and provide effective solutions.
Maintain in-depth product knowledge to assist customers with a variety of topics.
Process order entry, fulfillment, confirmations, and scan completed documents.
Maintain organized documentation of all customer interactions and transactions.
Utilize best customer service practices to build rapport and long-term relationships with customers.
Collaborate with a team to ensure timely responses and seamless customer support.
Complete company training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and stay up-to-date on industry knowledge.
Provide assistance with light Accounts Receivable duties, including sending invoices and applying payments.
Occasionally travel to trade shows to educate and sell products to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and practice managers.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required; 2 years of college preferred but not mandatory.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Strong computer proficiency, including customer management software experience.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication and phone skills.
Ability to utilize active listening techniques to understand customer needs.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Comfortable working under pressure and being cross-functional when needed.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently with strong written communication skills.
Willingness to travel for trade shows as needed.

QuickBooks or equivalent financial software
Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
MISys-MRP or other Inventory Management Software
Strong data entry, administrative writing, and reporting skills
Dependability, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills
