    Job Description

    Pay Range $21.30 to $25.10 per hour

    ** Purpose of position** :

    • Provide Foster Farms external key customers with world class customer service. This service includes (but is not limited to) the following:
      • Initiation and receipt of customer phone, fax, email, and EDI orders
      • Daily order processing in SAP – including creation and processing of customer sales orders, inventory checking, delivery date updates and running reports that reflect daily and weekly activities of sales orders
      • Suggestive selling of product to customers based on availability, previous sales and customer ads
      • Communication with sales account representatives on ad planning and customer issues
      • Processing of EDI generated orders and the CSR is a primary source of communication between Foster Farms and the customer and can help maintain an unbreakable link for service and commitment.

    ** Essential Job Functions:**

    • Daily order processing in SAP – including creation and processing of customer sales orders, inventory checking, delivery date updates and running reports that reflect daily and weekly activities of sales orders. Will also process EDI generated orders.
    • Customer contact, communication and follow-up to include initiation and receipt of customer phone and fax orders
    • Cross selling of product to customers based on availability, previous sales and customer ads
    • Communication with sales account representatives on ad planning and customer issue
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Requirements:**

    • Must have high school diploma
    • Must have 2+ years experience in an office Customer Service environment
    • Computer literacy with Microsoft Systems, SAP experience, and ability to compile and analyze data
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work well with minimal supervision in fast paced and high pressure situations
    • Consistent and reliable attendance
    • Accurate and detail oriented and be self-motivated and goal oriented
    • Ability to interface comfortably with customers and internal departments
    • Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well in a team environment
    • Must be able to work 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
    • Occasional Saturday coverage to pull in customer orders
