Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative, where working with our customers is at the heart of what we do. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who excels in communication, problem-solving, and customer interaction. Whether it is to make payment arrangements, listen and communicate, or answer their questions, the customer service representative must have the confidence, motivation, and ability to successfully communicate well and work through obstacles to get mutual results.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage past due accounts.
Investigate customer accounts thoroughly before making contact.
Reach out to customers with overdue accounts to collect payments or negotiate payment plans.
Encourage timely payments through proactive communication.
Handle incoming phone calls, process payments, and address customer concerns.
Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers visiting the office.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes on each customer’s account.
Direct customer complaints to the appropriate department supervisor or manager.
Issue account status letters promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Patience and the ability to manage stress.
Previous experience in collections is not required.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
