To help us drive excellence, as a Customer Service Representative you will get to:
- Communicates within department, and production, customer requirements and changes to demands. Prioritizes activities with areas of production and Shipping area to ensure requirements are met on time.
- Understands and meets all customer requirements and demands
- Works with Materials/Shipping/Production to maintain 100% delivery performance and ensures that all shipments are made as required by the customer
- Materials Dept. data entry to include, but not limited to emails; Maintenance of QAD as it applies to Shipping and customer orders
- Daily interaction with customer systems as required and according to policies
- Maintains company accums, investigating differences and adjusting as required.
- Assists Quality Department staff, as needed, to ensure quality parts are shipped to customers. Work with Operations and Production personnel to ensure quality issues are dispositioned in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Daily contact with carriers to schedule and cancel trucks
- Preparation and verification of customer orders
- Pull customer orders, tag parts, scan orders, and operate scale
- Support production as needed
- Assist with all department duties; loads and unloads trucks in the Materials Department and serves as back-up to other departmental staff and Shipping/Receiving Hilo Drivers
- Understanding of label processes
- Communicate effectively to/with customers, management and all associates sometimes prioritizing tasks within the dept. for other associates.
- Keeps work areas clean and orderly; maintains 5S
- Adheres to and enforces MIOSHA and L&W Engineering’s Safety Standards
- Assumes other duties as directed by Supervisor, or as needed to ensure tasks within the dept. are covered.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities
- Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)

This full-time role is a part of our Material Handling Department and reports to the Materials Manager I.

Education and/or Experience:
- High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
