Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and that tenant maintenance requests are handled efficiently. In this role, you will communicate with tenants to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests, repairs, and work orders.
Communicate with tenants, vendors, and property owners regarding maintenance issues.
Schedule and follow up on service calls to ensure timely completion.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and vendor invoices.
Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Previous experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or a related field
Comfortable using computers and customer management software
Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
Understanding of active listening techniques
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
Must Speak Spanish
