Summary
The Customer Service Representative responds to telephone calls from citizens contesting parking tickets, wanting to schedule appointments, seeking information, or paying for their tickets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive incoming telephone calls and assist citizens in resolving issues
Process dispositions from pretrial conferences/hearings
Issue refunds and document refund requests
Maintain required necessary documents
Work in a productive, safe, and cooperative manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures
Promote and maintain a positive work environment
Conduct other duties and special projects as assigned
Experience/Qualifications/Skills
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate-level PC skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Ability to multitask
The representative must maintain proficiency in all divisional procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
