Job Summary:
The Customer Service and Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving wholesales sales through an assigned list of Distributors, retail and other customers.
Customer Service is the key point of contact with customers maintaining regular communication and building a strong working relationship. The Customer Service & Sales Coordinator needs to have strong communication skills, is a self-starter and is driven to grow our business relationships, sales and profitability by providing exceptional service to our wholesale, retail and specialty customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Regular communication with customers addressing any questions or concerns
Detailed understanding of the assortment, pricing and policies.
Proactively seeks business through regular communication with customers and strong relationships. Understands the needs of each customer and tailors the approach to maximize the business.
Seeks new customers.
Tracks sales performance and proactively seeks orders for new and replenishment items
Enters in customer orders accurately. Send order confirmations and inform on product availability.
Maintain backorder records. Inform customers when items are available for shipment.
Handle any customer complaints and/or returns. Process any freight claims required.
Liaison with 3PL to ensure timely shipping of customer orders. Advise customers on shipping costs when needed. Ensure that orders are shipped properly and on time.
Review shipping documents from 3PL and match up to internal paperwork.
Provide shipping docs and/or tracking information to customers, including any ASN’s.
Maintain and file customer paperwork.
Send out weekly and monthly communications to all customers, including but not limited to price lists, promos, videos and other marketing materials.
Compete any special reports requested by customers, including new item reports.
Run credit card payments as needed.
Partner with Accounting to ensure timely payment of invoices in accordance with payment terms.
Attend any trade shows as required.
