Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Customer Service/Scheduler/Assistant to join our team. This is a PT position 25-30 hours a week. Approximately 10:30am - 4:30pm daily. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, schedule appointments, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure. Your main responsibilities will include answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, pulling permits, data entry. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
Refer to premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics
Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
Document all customer interactions
Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar
Administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
Previous experience as Customer Service or similar position
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
