    Job Summary

    AFI is seeking to hire a charismatic, people-friendly, and energetic individual to serve as a Customer Service Specialist! This role is entirely Client/Customer-Facing and chosen applicant must feel very comfortable communicating eloquently often about complex and challenging issues. This role will be responsible for collating customer queries, collaborating with other AFI Staff to ensure prompt resolution of received issues, and communicate directly with Property Owners & other Stakeholders regarding various items. The goal of the AFI Customer Service Team is to take ownership of resolving issues quickly and effectuating change on Client's properties. As such, this role will assume various Asset Management responsibilities for assigned Ownership Portfolios with the intention to constantly collaborate with any applicable Stakeholders to drive property improvements.

    This position comes with a base salary of $60,000/year plus tenure incentives. This position is 100% remote and will at-times require travel to AFI managed-asset locations (~3-5 days per month on average).

    The responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by a member of the Customer Support & Success Team:

    JOB DUTIES

    • Receipt and Tracking of Owner & Client issues
    • Drive resolution of issues with other AFI Team Members
    • Communication with Owners directly regarding submitted queries
    • Hosting of Weekly Internal Asset Management Work Sessions with AFI Staff and Property Teams
    • Hosting of Monthly Asset Management Webinars with assigned Ownership groups
    • Creation of Standard Operating Procedures regarding resolution of FAQs
    • Training of other staff as needed to drive timely response and resolution

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience in Customer Service & Management
    • Previous experience in Finance or Analysis
    • Extreme attention to detail
    • Natural desire to resolve issues with URGENCY
    • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of study preferred
    • Will be required to complete pre-employment drug test and background screening
