Objective
The Customer Service and Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the agency owner with the development and implementation of targeted marketing and lead generation programs to identify new prospects, cross-sell opportunities, and grow the agency’s brand in the community. They provide excellent customer experience for potential and existing customers
Marketing
Organizes and manages the process for identifying market opportunities
Develops, communicates and implements marketing strategies
Aligns with current brand marketing strategies to ensure continual development of lead generation
Manages agency social media content development, interactions, and as applicable, advertising
Provides personalized, professional customer service experiences by building trust and developing strong customer relationships and reviewing accounts for additional coverage and enhancements
Responds to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims, or products by following established agency processes and procedures
Drives customer satisfaction by following best practices: Personal Insurance Review, rate revision notification, and claims process
Processes change to existing accounts and policies
Serves as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the agency and various business partners
Schedules appointments with existing or prospective customers for agency employees
Community Development
Develop a network of community contacts
Researches opportunities and manages agency-sponsored special events
Promotes insurance-related topics and products in the community
Coordinates outreach and engagement efforts
Education/Licenses/Designations
Must be willing to get a WI Insurance license
Role Requirements
Solid knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, practices, and tools
Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities, and organize work
Active involvement in the local community
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer)
Experience using a wide range of digital devices
Experience with social media platforms
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education/Designations
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance concepts and principles
Demonstrated effective multi-line insurance marketing and sales experience
