  • Responsibilities

    Summary

    As a Customer Service and Sales Representative for a building materials company, you'll assist customers with their inquiries, project planning, and purchases, while also helping out with various warehouse tasks like inventory and shipping. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Managing inbound and outbound calls
    • Anticipating customer needs and following up for reorders or additional services
    • Having strong product knowledge to answer customer questions
    • Assisting with administrative tasks, warehouse work, and product issues
    • Scheduling deliveries and organizing the showroom
    • Maintaining project details and documentation

     

    Work Environment

     

    You'll be working in both office and warehouse settings.

     

    Physical Demands

     

    Expect plenty of walking, standing, climbing, bending, and working around vehicles and machinery. You’ll need to be able to lift at least 30 lbs. regularly.

     

    Skills and Experience Needed

    • Strong customer service skills
    • General knowledge of warehouse operations
    • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Clear, professional communication skills
    • Experience with inventory/inside sales is a plus
