    Job Description

    The CTS intern will be part of the Customer Technical Support team and will be heavily involved in defining and developing database tracking mechanisms for various test equipment and numerous SSD storage devices in use by our lab engineers. The candidate will be expected to have a basic knowledge of computer operations from a hardware and software standpoint. Candidate will be part of an active and ongoing database definition and development process and as such will be expected keep on track with assigned activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Learn about Joint Qualification SSD testing and process flow
    • Document and develop strategies to track and organize lab assets
    • Ensure that scope of project is appropriately sized for 8 week internship
    • Create and deploy equipment database for use by lab engineers
    • Review and automate qualification other tests where appropriate
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Basic understanding of storage technologies
    • Linux software knowledge a plus
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Familiarity with Python, Java or shell scripting

    The expected salary for this position is $25 - $30/hour.
