POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Cyber Systems Test Engineer provides test design and planning support to the Operational Test and Evaluation Force to evaluate the operational cyber survivability of U.S. Navy platforms and systems. Required to engage closely with stakeholders, including Program Offices and the Navy Red Team. Creates Cyber Survivability Test Plans using Mission Effect Test and Analysis (META). These plans include specific cyber objectives to target critical components of the System Under Test (SUT) to evaluate system deficiencies in a cyber-threat environment and analyze the SUT’s operational mission impacts due to system deficiencies that fail to prevent, mitigate, and recover.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have DoDD 8570 IAM/IAT II certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months after task order award.
Must be TS/SCI Eligible.
Must comply with one of the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
Computer Science
Computer/Electrical engineering
Systems Engineering (technical)
Aeronautical engineering
Or
Network engineering
Programming (C/C++, Python, Bash, etc.)
Systems test engineering
Project management
Penetration testing
