  • Responsibilities

    The Cyber Tools System Administrator is responsible for maintaining cyber portion of the lab environments operational and providing technical support to users, addressing and resolving hardware and software issues. Tasks include maintaining and administering cyber applications and virtual machines (Delinea, ESS, ACAS, ArcSight, MFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.). Manage and maintain asset inventory of hardware and software.

    Supports the implementation of security protocols and monitoring systems. The Cyber Admin will support the Cyber Tools team as part of the Cyber and Platform (CAP) ART.

    Technical Skills Required

      • The position requires the following Systems Administration skills: Systems Administration of Windows and Linux Servers as well as vCenter. Technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products. Have working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs, Patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security in an integrated lab environment.

    Education Required

      • Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent; wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions; works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources; frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
