    CYBERSECURITY INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY ENGINEER 

    Overview:
    Analogic, a leading innovator in aviation security technology, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in Peabody, MA. This role requires 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on integrating robust security measures within the software development lifecycle. As an ISSE, you will work closely with our talented software engineers, ensuring our aviation security equipment meets the highest security standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage security policies and controls on Linux systems to comply with NIST SP 800-53.
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security risks.
    • Analyze IT and system risks in complex environments and communicate results effectively.
    • Perform detailed audits and certify compliance for Linux systems, network devices, and peripherals.
    • Assist in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals through the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
    • Partner with the ISSO and software engineers to ensure technical security measures are implemented effectively.
    • Integrate security practices (DevSecOps) throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Lead security efforts in designing, developing, and deploying secure products and systems.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience in the aviation security industry.
    • Familiarity with ISO-27001 standards.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
    • 5-10 years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on software development.
    • Extensive knowledge of Linux systems and securing Linux environments.
    • Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF.
    • Proven experience in risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits.
    • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
    • Excellent communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
    • Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
    • Knowledge of modern networks, Linux operating systems, databases, web servers, and virtual computing.
