TEACHER AIDE 

compensation: $16.50-19.00 PER HOUR employment type: FULL-TIME

MUST LOVE CHILDREN!!!!! We're looking for a responsible, phenomenal Team member! If you have teaching experience working with preschool or infant / toddler children, we want you to be part of our team. Duties will include: Instruction • Supervising small groups of children in the classroom and during outdoor play; • Working with Lead/Co-Teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children; • Supporting children as a facilitator of learning throughout the day; • Modeling positive and appropriate language and behavior; • Assisting Lead/Co-Teachers with classroom documentation; • Communicating child concerns and family needs to Lead/Co-Preschool Teacher and management; and • Arriving to your class and meetings prepared, on time, and ready to teach. • Must be able to work a full shift Monday thru Friday • MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK • Set-up and oversee learning centers; • Maintain the cleanliness of classroom space; • Prepare materials and supplies; • Assist children with bathroom needs - this includes diapering and helping with clothing as needed; and Desirable Qualifications • Caring, nurturing provider with experience working with preschool age children and/or infant age children in a developmentally appropriate classroom setting; • Team player – able to work as part of a teaching team as well as work independently • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
