    Job Title: LTA Negotiator/Account Manager

    Location: Windsor Locks, CT

    Description:

    This position is for an experienced LTA Negotiator/Account Manager role to join a growing aerospace team with CLIENT. As an important part of the Supply Chain team here at CLIENT, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by helping to ensure customer expectations are met.

    This is a position located at the CLIENT Windsor site, at times the client's site in Windsor Locks, CT, and possible at times work from home.

    The LTA Negotiator/Account Manager is responsible for driving value through analytical, strategic sourcing, complex contracting, supplier relationship management, and governance throughout the full lifecycle of long term agreements (LTAs). This requires core skills in data analysis, insightful negotiation platforms, creative pricing models, RFP response processes, stakeholder alignment, optimized agreement authoring, onboarding and reviews of supplier partnerships, and continual contract optimization.

    Core Responsibilities Include:

    Conduct in-depth analysis of supplier data, market trends, and spend analytics to formulate strategic negotiation frameworks and pricing models for use in discussions with suppliers

    Lead development of responses and quotations when negotiating with suppliers for RFPs, competitive bidding events, and contract renewals to provide compelling value propositions

    Foster cross-functional alignment internally across stakeholders in procurement, program management, finance and compliance teams to unify objectives when negotiating with suppliers

    Architect long-term agreement frameworks, author contractual language, establish terms and conditions, and finalize intricately structured contracts through negotiations with suppliers

    Steward collaborative supplier partnerships through routine business reviews, requirement traceability, and transparent communication channels

    Implement structured contract compliance programs and governance processes focused on risk mitigation, value enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives in our relationships with suppliers

    Maintain comprehensive understanding of latest regulations, client’s corporate policies, local and federal laws to ensure agreement integrity when negotiating supplier contracts

    Mediate resolution-focused discussions in case of disputes, misalignments or underperformance with suppliers; lead root cause analysis and remediation planning

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related discipline

    5+ years experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, long term agreement/contract roles

    Data analysis, modeling, pricing, and financial analysis skills

    Experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts

    Demonstrated ability to align internal stakeholders

    Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

    Knowledge of contracting best practices, policies, laws and regulations

    Consensus-building, conflict resolution and influence skills

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

    Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    SAP Experience is a must

    1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365

    Must be a US Citizen/Person

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field

    Certifications/Training such as CPSM, CPSD, Six Sigma Green Belt

    5+ years experience in aerospace/defense contracting

    Background developing optimized contracting frameworks and governance models

    Analytical and creative negotiation skill blend

    Emotional intelligence and collaboration abilities

    Contract optimization and continual improvement expertise

    An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision
