DCL Logistics is a 3PL that offers state of the art ecommerce and retail fulfillment services in the United States with facilities in California and Kentucky. We offer customized solutions that are designed to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve the value of our clients' brand.

Our rapidly growing third party logistics company (3PL) seeks an Account Representative for our Louisville, KY location.

The Account Representative is responsible for supporting the account management team to help in client relationships and at times manage your own account base. You will be assisting all the related details, including setting up new items in our software system, statements of work, project plans and product/promotion launches. You will closely align with the account managers with the day-to-day demands of client support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support DCL Account Managers to be an effective liaison to support operational programs at DCL.
• Interface with clients via email and phone
• Escalate things appropriately to account manager for their attention
• Participate in weekly meetings with customers and account manager.
• Work closely with operations to ensure success of customer’s logistics needs

NON-ESSNTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Ability to move 40+ pounds
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperature is affected by weather conditions

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience/background in a customer service/support role.
• Outstanding interpersonal and service orientation skills.
• Assertiveness
• Experience presenting in front of teams and senior level management.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Logistics and or 3PL experience preferred
• Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
