    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a passionate and experienced DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Trainer / Facilitator to join our team at BRC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing DEI training programs across the organization. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel valued and respected. The DEI Trainer / Facilitator will work closely with the Chief Equity Officer, leadership, HR, and various departments to promote DEI initiatives and ensure they are effectively integrated into the company’s practices and policies.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Deliver Training: Design and facilitate engaging DEI training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels of the organization.
    •  
    • Curriculum Development: Create and update training materials that reflect current DEI best practices and address the specific needs of the organization.
    • Facilitate Discussions Lead discussions on sensitive and complex topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, encouraging open dialogue and reflection.
    • Assess Training Impact: Measure the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and other assessment tools, and adjust content as needed.
    • Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with the Chief Equity Officer, leadership, and HR to identify DEI training needs and develop strategies to address them.
    • Support DEI Initiatives: Assist in the development and implementation of broader DEI initiatives and programs within the organization.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on DEI trends, research, and best practices to ensure the training content is relevant and impactful.
    • Report on Progress: Provide regular reports on training activities, participation, and outcomes to stakeholders.

     

    Hours:

    Full-time 37.5 hours per week

    • Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
    • Hybrid

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in DEI, training, facilitation, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Social services, not for profit, or related experience or demonstrated understanding preferred.

    *Vaccination preferred but not required.

  • Compensation
    $78,000 per year
