Nue Beginnings Residence Home Inc is currently recruiting Therapists/Counselors who are interested in Subcontracting to provide community-based therapy and counseling to Children and Families who are currently involved with Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in building parental capacity and/or work towards reunification.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to children, adolescents and/or adults.
Provide individual therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency providers
Therapists/Counselors MUST be willing to provide services, In Person and Virtually when appropriate, in the following counties Cobb, Douglas, Polk, Coweta, Lamar, Spalding Troup, Newton, Rockdale, Clayton, Gwinnett, Dekalb, Fulton,
Master's level therapist/counselors who are willing to maintain a heavy case load of clients comprised of children and/or their parents/guardians, who are under the supervision of the Department of Family and Children Services(DFCS).
These are contracted positions ONLY. Therapy / counseling will be conducted in the COMMUNITY.
Education Requirements
Master's degree MUST be in psychology, sociology, family therapy or counseling! No Exceptions.
Those eligible for provisional/clinical license OR in possession of provisional or clinical licensed Counselors applying must have one of the following licenses: An LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC, LMSW, or LAMFT.
Applicants MUST be able to pass an extensive background check. These positions are excellent for recent individuals obtaining their master's degree from an accredited college or university and desiring to obtain extensive experience
