Nue Beginnings Residence Home Inc is currently recruiting FULL AND PART TIME subcontractors who can provide direct, in-person support to children residing in group homes. The primary focus is to assist children involved with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in developing essential behavioral and life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to conduct crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors, ensuring the child’s safety and emotional well-being during high-stress situations.

Promote healthy boundaries, self-esteem, and appropriate personal appearance among young adults

Provide safe and punctual transportation to and from community-based outings and appointments when needed

Facilitate behavioral modification training in areas such as anger management, stress management, and problem-solving, with a focus on enhancing communication and social skills.

Assist with development and implementation of individualized support plans that prioritize environmental safety, promote healthy coping strategies, and establish achievable behavioral goals for positive, sustainable change.

Demonstrate and reinforce socially acceptable behaviors (ex: manners, eating habits, personal safety)

Collaborate closely with other subcontractors to track each child’s progress, adjust strategies as needed, and assist with creating a structured, nurturing home environment.

This role requires a compassionate, proactive individual dedicated to helping children thrive by building foundational skills and fostering a supportive network around them.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a youth group home setting or youth stabilization unit.

A minimum of 5 years of paid experience in human-services working with children grades K-12th.

Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency providers.

Servicing the Coweta County area.
