    Marketing Director - In-Office Position (Mon-Fri) The In-Office Marketing Director will serve as “creative marketing director” for D.J. Bitzan Jewelers by driving strategy, generating and designing content, and bringing plans to life for all traditional advertising, digital marketing, and social media. This person is responsible for the day-to-day, in-house management of all aspects of the brand. This person must excel at negotiating contracts, researching and analyzing marketing trends to plan campaigns strategically, and working collaboratively with the sales and leadership teams. The Marketing Director will be responsible for executing short and long-term goals, showcasing our sparkle, and growing our local market share. The ideal candidate will leverage their passion for storytelling, knowledge of marketing tools and strategy, and drive to succeed in a dynamic, growing local business. This position will allow you to make a deep and long-lasting impact as you work closely with the second and third-generation owners to shape the creative vision for this highly reputable and successful jewelry business. Responsibilities: • Develop promotional marketing plans and strategies, including all forms of media. • Manage social media exposure, promotions, and updates to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, other social channels, and future opportunities. Respond to all social media comments and messages in a timely manner. • Work with the sales team to identify best-selling products, new additions, and markdowns to highlight in social media posts, digital advertising, and email marketing. • Plan and manage online and in-store events and promotions. • Lead strategy sessions and content suggestions for the marketing committee. • Manage review programs, including Google, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Facebook, Yelp, and other review sites. Respond as necessary and provide data to the marketing committee. • Maintain ongoing communication with website developers to troubleshoot and move improvements forward. Shopify experience is a plus! • Negotiate advertising contracts and schedules. Qualifications: • Technical proficiency: current on various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc., Google web analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Suite (Photoshop required), Microsoft Office, website design/development, Indeed and other hiring platforms, and other digital media tools and technology. • Excellent communication skills, responsible for internal and external communication regarding product, services, specialties and brand management. • Results and metrics-driven, focused on optimizing tools and resources, constantly measuring and testing for success. • Strategic thinker - big picture perspective but detail oriented. • Creative and collaborative, excited about implementing innovative ideas. • Minimum experience of 3 years in a professional role preferred. Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000+
