    We are currently seeking a DMSMS/Obsolescence Logistician to support our Crane, Indiana customer. The analyst will be required to perform the following duties:

    Duties:

    • Provide Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to identify and assist in mitigating obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems
    • Perform market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts.
    • Provide obsolescence research; work with government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers to verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components.
    • Support the procurement, receipt, and storage of parts to ensure continued system supportability.
    • Maintain a database of DMSMS information

    Desired Education:

    • Highschool/ vocational school OR BS/BA degree in any field.

    Desired Experience:

    • 3+ years equivalent relevant work experience.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence
    • DoD SD-22 guidebook knowledge
    • Experience in working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $38,958.40-$101,648.64 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
