Summary:
Rocco's Doughnut Company is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House Team. As a member of our team, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, serving delicious food and beverages, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the store.
Assist customers in making menu choices, providing information about our doughnuts, beverages, and other products.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive overall experience.
Food and Beverage Service:
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary preferences are noted.
Prepare and serve doughnuts, beverages, and other menu items promptly and with attention to presentation.
Ensure food and beverages meet quality standards, maintaining the excellent taste our customers expect.
Order Management:
Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions.
Manage online or phone orders, ensuring timely preparation and pickup or delivery if applicable.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event area. Regularly clean countertops, and other customer areas to provide a tidy and comfortable space.Help with daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
Upselling and Promotions:
Inform customers about current promotions, discounts, or new menu items to encourage additional sales.Suggestively sell upgrades or combos to enhance the customer experience.
Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborate with other front of house team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate any issues, concerns, or customer feedback to the management team promptly.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a food service or hospitality setting, is a plus.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
-Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
-Food safety and hygiene knowledge is desirable but not mandatory (training can be provided).
