Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Pediatric Home Care Location: Fairfax, VA Schedule: Weekends only – Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities? Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), providing compassionate care and support to a pediatric client in their home.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one care and support to a child with developmental disabilities in a home setting.

Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.

Follow individualized care plans to ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

Encourage participation in activities that foster learning, social interaction, and community involvement.

Document daily progress, observations, and any incidents accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized goals and interventions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for the client.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience working with children with disabilities or developmental challenges.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, their family, and the care team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.

Commitment to working scheduled weekend shifts.
