Job Title: DTC & Social Media Specialist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative DTC & Social Media Specialist to lead the charge in growing our direct-to-consumer sales channels and digital brand presence. This role is a hybrid of digital marketing, content creation, and e-commerce operations, responsible for driving traffic, engagement, and revenue through our online store and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) E-Commerce:
Manage and optimize the company’s DTC website (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
Execute and manage email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
Track and report on key e-commerce metrics (conversion rate, AOV, CAC, LTV)
Collaborate with fulfillment and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
Assist with customer service inquiries related to online orders
Social Media Management:
Create and manage content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
Develop engaging content (photo, video, copy) to increase reach and engagement
Monitor trends, hashtags, and cultural moments to keep content fresh and relevant
Engage with the community: respond to comments, messages, and UGC (user-generated content)
Work with influencers or brand ambassadors for collaborations or product seeding
Brand & Content:
Manage in-house content team
Maintain brand voice, look, and feel across all digital platforms
Develop lifestyle and product-focused content that supports campaigns and launches
Plan and execute seasonal or promotional campaigns for product pushes or new releases
Analytics & Reporting:
Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Shopify, etc., to track campaign performance
Monitor KPIs and adjust strategy based on performance data
Report insights and performance to internal stakeholders weekly/monthly
Requirements:
3+ years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or DTC/e-commerce
Proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Shopify, Meta Business Suite, etc.
Comfortable filming, editing, and posting short-form video content
Analytical mindset and familiarity with performance metrics
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience working with food, CPG, or lifestyle brands
Knowledge of paid social media advertising (Meta, TikTok, Google)
Photography/videography skills (even DIY style)
Influencer marketing or affiliate management experience
Additional:
Work with senior management team to develop Direct-to-Consumer / eCommerce operational strategy & execute on all CRM initiatives
Monitor and track promotional calendars, set up and test promotions
Conduct ongoing competitive and benchmark analyses.
Identify, analyze, and report on program performance and customer trends/patterns and leverage data to optimize CRM programs.
Provide status updates on eCommerce projects to management team.
Analyze and report on daily ecommerce business KPIs including performance of CRM, promotional and operational programs.
Develop insights based on customer data and KPIs, and recommend adjustments to future strategies.
