    Business Management Department - Adjunct

    Summary:

    The Department of Business Management at D’Youville University is seeking qualified candidates to join a pool of adjunct instructors for potential teaching opportunities in both lectures and online classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are accepting applications for positions to be filled as needed. Our department offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with majors in Business Management, Marketing, Sports Management, Health Services Management, and Healthcare Analytics, as well as an online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

    Responsibilities:

    • Teach assigned courses in accordance with established learning outcomes.
    • Develop and implement course assignments and learning activities that effectively measure student learning outcomes.
    • Foster an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment.
    • Provide regular progress updates and final grades for students.
    • Maintain accessibility and timely communication with students through in-person office hours, videoconferencing, or telephone.

    Requirements:

    • Master’s degree or higher in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Previous experience teaching in higher education is preferred.
    • Experience teaching both online and in-person business courses.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in utilizing various software programs.
