The Daily Wire's Post-Production team in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Assistant!

This is an entry-level opportunity and one that is critical to the success of the Post-Production team and The Daily Wire at large. The QC Assistant will support the Post-Production and Marketing teams by quality checking and uploading all of the video content that Production creates. The QC Assistant is the last stop before our content goes live to the public. Typos, grammar errors, title mix ups... the QC Assistant will use their outstanding level of attention to detail to help ensure that Daily Wire's video content is of the highest and most professional quality possible for our audience.

While an interest in Production is a nice plus for this position, previous industry experience in not required. However, what is essential to success in this role is an exceptional level of detail-orientation, organization, and project management. If this sounds like you, we're excited to hear from you!

Please note: This is a 4-week temporary position, with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities :

• Quality-check each daily podcast, original video content, and promotional content produced by the Production and Marketing teams
  • Ensure that there is the correct written format for titles and descriptions, spelling, and export settings
• Ensure all necessary elements are present and edited in a professional and clean manner that fits in with the podcast structure and meets the high-quality standards of the Daily Wire brand
• Upload all video and audio to the required platforms
  • Fill in titles and descriptions appropriately, create SEO in the required time, and add/change thumbnails as needed
• Ensure all video and audio are uploaded on time
• Maintain consistent communication with the Production and Marketing teams to ensure accurate and speedy uploads
• Stay up to date with all changes to department
• Complete and submit daily project logs in accordance with Daily Wire Project Log Policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

• Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent with project management
• Basic Mac computer understanding
• Ability to successfully juggle multiple projects/tasks at once
• Ability to thrive in high pressure environments
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud (preferred but not required)
• Previous entry-level experience in Production and/or an interest in Production a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills including: writing skills, listening skills, and verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• An openness to and great attitude about receiving feedback
• Highly self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
• G-suite proficiency
