    We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with expertise in Damage Prevention for a multi-year, year-round project based in Albany and Eastern New York. This role involves providing oversight and leadership on gas and electric distribution and transmission projects, with a focus on coaching construction teams, coordinating activities, and utilizing GIS for project planning. The Project Manager will work closely with the Construction Supervisor and crews, ensuring adherence to safety and damage prevention standards. Work schedule: Monday through Saturday (6 days per week), 10-hour shifts, including some nights. Responsibilities: • Provide oversight of construction activities on gas and electric distribution and transmission projects (no direct execution of work). • Work closely with Construction Supervisors and crews , offering coaching and guidance to enhance team performance. • Utilize GIS tools for effective project planning, tracking, and reporting. • Ensure damage prevention protocols are implemented and followed throughout the project. • Coordinate all project activities , owning the coordination of schedules, resources, and communication between all stakeholders. • Maintain an 80% field-based presence, with the remaining 20% spent in the office for planning, reporting, and coordination. • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication, ensuring all activities are aligned with timelines and safety standards. Qualifications: • At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on oversight (not executing work directly). • Experience in gas and electric distribution and transmission systems, including both facilities and operations. • Expertise in damage prevention and maintaining safety standards. • Proficient in the use of GIS for project management. • Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and managing construction teams. • Excellent communication skills , with the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders simultaneously. • Ability to work on-site in Albany, NY, and other locations in Eastern NY. Compensation: $150,000+
