Studio Director Part-Time: 10-20 Hours Teaching | 10-20 Hours Admin | Full-Time Potential Within the Year
Tutu School is looking for a dedicated and passionate Studio Director to support our North Atlanta locations. Initially, training will be 10-15 hours per week until our new location opens, after which the role will transition to 10-20 hours of teaching and 10-20 hours of administrative duties per week. This position has the potential to become a full-time role within the year as our studios continue to grow.

Job Summary
At Tutu School, we seek magic makers—hearts that never stop twirling and minds that thrive on creativity. Our Studio Director must have a strong background in dance, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about both teaching and studio management, with a desire to grow into a full-time leadership position.
Job Responsibilities
Teaching (10-20 hours per week)
Lead engaging, age-appropriate ballet classes for children ages 6 months to 8 years old following Tutu School’s curriculum.
Substitute as needed across Alpharetta, East Cobb, and Brookhaven locations.
Create a positive, nurturing, and creative classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and class details.
Assist in training and mentoring new instructors.
Studio Administration (10-20 hours per week)
Oversee class scheduling, enrollment management, and customer communication.
Lead marketing efforts, including social media updates, outreach, and community engagement.
Manage instructor scheduling, coordinate sub coverage, and support staff training.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of studio spaces.
Represent Tutu School at community events and partnership initiatives.
Work closely with ownership to support business growth and operational success.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills and business acumen required.
Management or team leadership experience.
Dance experience required; ballet experience preferred.
Experience working with children in an instructional or educational setting.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including weekends, required.
Reliable transportation between Alpharetta, East Cobb, and Brookhaven locations.
