Law Firm - Labor & Employment Associate (Junior)
Job Description
Daniel T. Ho & Associates is a firm specializing in employment litigation. We represent both employees and employers. The firm’s principal, Daniel T. Ho, also specializes in negotiation of severance agreements. We are looking for an attorney with 2-5 years of litigation or employment law experience to join our firm. Among other things, the associate will “take point” on handling discovery and depositions, preparing correspondence, preparing and arguing motions, and handling trials and arbitrations.
Requirements:
--The ability to work remotely for the foreseeable future;
--Adeptness at using MS Word and Adobe Acrobat – you must be facile with technology;
--Client-management skills;
--Excellent research and writing skills;
--A sense of humor;
--JD from an ABA accredited law school. 1st or 2nd tier school preferred; if below that, top 10% of class.
In addition to a starting salary commensurate with an applicant's experience, the firm will consider discretionary bonuses based on performance.
