About the Role
Are you a data enthusiast who loves digging into numbers, uncovering trends, and helping businesses grow smarter? We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team on-site in St. Louis and work directly with our Chief Product Officer to turn raw data into powerful insights. You’ll be the go-to person for understanding sales performance, customer behavior, website trends, and competitor strategies—helping us stay ahead in the ever-evolving pre-owned electronics market. This role is perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for e-commerce trends, and a love for spreadsheets, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI. If you have experience with Shopify and NetSuite, that’s a big plus, but if not, don’t worry—we care more about your ability to extract, analyze, and present meaningful insights that drive results.
What You’ll Do
· Dive into e-commerce data – Track sales, customer behavior, and website performance to uncover key trends.
· Keep an eye on the competition – Monitor competitor websites, pricing, promotions, and industry trends to help us stay ahead.
· Turn numbers into action – Use SQL, Power BI or your favorite visualization tool to build dashboards and reports that actually make sense.
· Master Excel like a pro – Pivot tables, macros, formulas—if it can be done in Excel, you know how to do it.
· Optimize performance – Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, product pricing, and marketing strategies.
· Run experiments – Suggest, set up and analyze A/B tests to help fine-tune everything from website design to ad campaigns.
· Automate & streamline – Find ways to make reporting faster, smarter, and more efficient.
· Collaborate with awesome people – Work closely with marketing, finance, product, and operations teams to help make smarter business decisions.
· Understand the pre-owned electronics market – If you have experience in this space, great! If not, get ready to become an expert.
What We’re Looking For
- A data wizard – You can analyze large datasets and translate numbers into insights.
- SQL skills – Writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries should be second nature to you.
- Excel master – You know your way around pivot tables, formulas, and data automation.
- Visualization pro – Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to create reports that actually tell a story.
- Competitive mindset – You love monitoring industry trends, tracking competitors, and finding ways to stay ahead.
- Familiarity with e-commerce & ERP platforms – Experience with Shopify and/or NetSuite is strongly preferred but not required.
- Curiosity & attention to detail – You love uncovering insights and making sure the data is accurate.
- On-site availability – This role is 100% in-office at our St. Louis headquarters (no remote or hybrid options).
