    Summary of Position

    The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting our newly implemented OneLake environment and Power BI

    development. This role is execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on aligning our data infrastructure with

    departmental and organizational strategies. The Data Analyst will assist in the creation, maintenance, and

    optimization of data solutions that support enterprise information management and business intelligence.

    This position is located in Niles, IL and requires an on-site presence Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Only local candidates will be considered for this position.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Support the development and optimization of Power BI reports to ensure they are accurate and fulfill organizational needs.
    • Assist in the integration of data across various systems to enhance accessibility and utility.
    • Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms.
    • Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
    • Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchased alternatives.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries, views, or stored procedures to extract and manage data efficiently.
    • Analyze and interpret existing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to reverse engineer and improve existing codes.
    • Collaborate with the IT managers to create structured data workspaces in OneLake that are tailored to the specific needs of different departments.
    • Work alongside the IT managers to ensure the technical accuracy and usefulness of Power BI reports.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Computer/Data Science.
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic systems (using RDBMS, dimensional, SQL data platform technologies).
    • Strong experience with Power BI and familiarity with SharePoint.
    • Experience with data integration and the ability to develop and maintain data flows and models.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Highly self-driven and accountable for deliverables
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Ability to remain in a stationary sitting position 75% of the time.
    • Ability to communicate information and exchange ideas with high attention to detail and accuracy.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
    • Experience in process manufacturing within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment.
    • Master’s degree in a related field.

    • Office setting with the ability to remain in a stationary sitting position 75% of the time
