  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

    • Develop and maintain reports using Excel and Google Sheets.

    • Perform data extraction and manipulation using SQL and Excel.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validation.

    • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    • Support the Senior Data Analytics Manager with ad-hoc analysis and projects.

    • Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing and management.

    • Maintain version control of scripts and queries using GitHub.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

    • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

    • Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

    • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.

    • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years of professional experience as a data analyst

    Desired Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

    • Strong SQL required

    • Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms such as Big Query, and Redshift.

    • Strong Excel skills required

    • Foundational analytics skills

    • Stakeholder management

    • Strong communication skills

    • Requirements gathering

    • Presentation skills

    • Knowledge of data modeling concepts desired

    • Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI desired

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Knowledge of the music industry is a plus.

    Salary: $102,800 - $123,300

    Where you'll be

    This role will be based out of our Brooklyn, NY headquarters. TuneCore operates on an in-office and remote hybrid model giving our teams flexibility and choice of how they work. This role will have the option to work predominantly remotely and work from the office 7 days per month on a flexible schedule organized at the department level.
