The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Support grant management activities with USDA, eScholar and FNS;
Produce data catalogues and reports for USDA; and
Provide technical assistance to FNS division and school systems with Community Eligibility Program (CEP) data collection.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Must have current experience working with the State’s Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program within the last six (6) months as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs
Master Degree in Health Information Technology
Experience in data analysis using SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL queries
Proficiency with SAS and R programming for analyzing data sets for trends, patterns and anomalies
Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
Ability to create complex SQL queries
Ability to develop interactive dashboards or visualizations
Experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau
Experience with GIT, GitHub and JIRA
Must be able to follow Agile development methodologies
Provide effective communications and work well with multiple teams and users at various technical levels (novice to advanced).
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
Ability to understand complex business problems
Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues
Understanding of quality control process to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations
Understanding of database platforms and database design
