The Role
The Data Analyst will play a key role in the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACoE) , with a strong focus on product analytics while supporting all areas of the business , including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Donor Development. This role requires a highly resourceful, self-sufficient, and proactive analyst —someone who is not only skilled in data analysis but also capable of building their own data pipelines, dashboards, and automation workflows without relying heavily on Data Engineers. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, Python, and UI/UX analytics , with a passion for solving complex problems, developing innovative solutions, and creating impactful insights from raw data. This role bridges technical expertise with strategic business understanding, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a key enabler of data-driven decision-making across the organization, you provide critical insights that shape product development, marketing strategies, donor engagement, financial performance, and operational efficiency. As part of the Analytics Center of Excellence , this role will not only uncover meaningful patterns in data but also empower departments to become self-sufficient in their analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate is a technical powerhouse , a creative problem solver , and a strategic partner who thrives on turning data into actionable insights that drive measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in product analytics and a proven track record of working across multiple business functions.
Technical Expertise : * Advanced SQL skills for querying complex datasets, optimizing performance, and building custom data models. * Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, automation, and developing quick ETL workflows. * Experience with product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar platforms. * Familiarity with UI/UX analytics , including heatmaps, clickstream analysis, and user flow tracking.
Data Visualization & Reporting: * Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Tableau , Power BI , or other visualization tools. * Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical & Statistical Skills: * Strong foundation in statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation methodologies. * Experience with cohort analysis , retention analysis , and growth metrics to support business growth initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : * Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Donor Development. * Strong communication skills to translate business questions into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
Problem-Solving & Self-Sufficiency: * Highly resourceful and capable of developing innovative solutions and workarounds independently. * Comfortable managing end-to-end analytics workflows , from data extraction and transformation to visualization and insight delivery.
Data Quality & Governance: * Experience in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards. * Ability to implement data validation processes and monitor data quality proactively.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and reliability.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
Experience working remotely; Consulting experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required for job tasks such as client communication and documentation, with availability between 10-2 EST.
