Input Technology Solutions is seeking a Data Architect for a great company at Langley AFB in Hampton, Virginia.

    Job Overview:

For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for an Air Command's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

As a data architect, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architectures to support data science, data engineering, and data visualization. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with technical teams by providing advice on data warehousing or data mesh methods and approaches, analyzing data architecture business needs, and working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. You will apply a wide range of Big Data and Cloud technologies to propose recommendations for the development of data integration pipelines, scalable data storage environments, Application Programming interfaces (APIs), security procedures, and algorithms used to deliver data faster and more accurately to decision-makers. Along with your team, you will analyze the needs and the environment to ensure development considers the architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. Define and maintain canonical data elements and definitions, data models, policies and business rules, constraints using regular expressions, and reference datasets. You'll develop plans for implementing an enterprise data catalog to identify data quality and data lineage.

This team will deliver world class solutions to implement Artificial Intelligence, Automation and data Augmentation (AAA) and cloud strategy across the ISR enterprise by modernizing the digital environment to meet the requirements of Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2), Advance Battle Management System (ABMS), the Sensing Grid, Agile Combat Employment (ACE), the Intelligence Community’s (IC) Augmenting Intelligence with Machines (AIM), Information Environment, and Information Technology Environment strategies.

You’ll also provide mentoring and training for our mission partners, educating them about data architecture, data science, data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of data, algorithms, tools, and frameworks. With your drive to establish processes and lead technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on the ISR mission.

    You Have:

    • 3+ years of experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and data governance
    • 3+ years of experience with leading business process reengineering, business process assessment, or business architectural development
    • 3+ years of experience with developing highly responsive data structures, metadata capture strategies, ontologies, and data dictionaries
    • 3+ years of experience with leading data operations teams to develop architecture or extract-transform-load (ETL) data pipelines
    • 3+ years of experience with managing an enterprise data catalog for a large organization
    • Experience with cloud technology supporting scalable data solutions
    • Knowledge of database development and administration, including process and software
    • Top Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree

    Nice If You Have:

    • 3+ years of experience with managing classified data and sensitive data
    • Experience working on multi-disciplinary Agile teams
    • Experience working with the Air Force
    • Knowledge of DoD enterprise data and systems
    • Knowledge of ISR capabilities, including sensing effects across multiple domains and how these effects can be leveraged in GEOINT, SIGINT, and MASINT sensed environments
    • TS/SCI clearance
