    Position: Data Center Lead.

    Location: Remote within DMV area

    Clearance: Secret.

    Responsibilities:

    The Data Center Lead will be responsible for supporting the design, deployment, engineering, operations, and administration of the United States Mint's Data Center. The role includes overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth performance of critical systems. Key responsibilities include:

    Managing and monitoring data center operations and administration

    Scheduling and executing jobs, as well as handling transactions and batch processing

    Overseeing electronic data exchange management · Performing system and database administration tasks

    Administering storage, data management, and remote access services

    Managing middleware and collaborative computing platforms

    Leading special projects related to data center infrastructure and services

    Practical skills, experience and training leading the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, of data center hardware and software including but not limited to Linux Red hat, patching, satellite, ansible systems

    Providing key support for DR Exercise and FISMA Audit.

    Required skills:

    Available to provide Help Desk support from 6am – 2pm EST

    15 years of relevant experience in communication administration or a related field.

    15 years of experience with data center operations or related Bachelor’s degree Info Systems/Relevant Field

    Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist prior to on boarding (CTNS)

    ITIL 4+ Foundation Certification and MCA Microsoft Azure Admin – prior to onboarding

    Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) – Prior to onboarding

    Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation – Prior to onboarding

    Red Hat Certified Specialist in Satellite Administration: Within 6 months of onboarding.
