Job Description
The A Player Data Collections Specialist does the following:
· Collect building permit data: Contact building departments across the U.S. to obtain electronic copies of building permit data. Hone requests to be as concise as possible to facilitate a quick turnaround. Responsible for developing long-term relationships that allow data to be obtained in a reliable, cost-effective manner.
· Analyze building permit data: Conduct a preliminary audit of data to ensure that it meets specific quality requirements (electronic data covers the maximum number of years, includes all available fields and is in an optimal format). Address identified problems proactively.
· Practice exceptional organizational techniques: Record every pertinent piece of information using customer relationship management software. This includes details about email and phone interactions, as well as keeping track of contact information.
· Strategize about tactics: Brainstorm with coworkers to find solutions to overcome obstacles. Flexes their research and critical thinking muscles to find creative new approaches to get the job done.
· Continually improve: Identify steps in the process that could be improved. Share ideas with team members and management in a continuous effort to optimize our performance.
· Adept with technology: Able to successfully navigate office tools like our internal CRM (Honey), E-mail, Word, Excel; good internet searching and research skills; knowledgeable about various file formats.

· Full-Time Employment: Ability to work as a full-time (40 hrs) employee
· Work Environment: Ability to work a hybrid schedule – 3 days WFH, 2 days in our Asheville, NC office
